Forse metterò un cartello all’uscita della funicolare con indicazione….
Visto il costo potrebbe è anche essere incluso la risalita con la funicolare

L’unica cosa che le attese x la partenza ciaspolata mi ha raffreddata … consiglierei di non fare troppe pause vuote x non far raffreddare gli ospiti ..

Consiglio tantissimo tutta l’esperienza.
Nessuna difficoltà nella prenotazione e bellissime tutte le attività.
Il mio consiglio è spiegare nel dettaglio i vari passaggi da fare per godere al meglio della sauna e del pernottamento (es. consigli su abbigliamento da utilizzare, come effettuare sauna ecc…)
Altro consiglio, pubblicizzare la discesa con lo slittino di 10 km…! Il rientro è meglio farlo così che sulla funivia…ma se non ci si informa molti non ne sono a conoscenza.

Mein Mann und ich haben den Jahreswechsel im Iglu auf dem Speickboden verbracht und ich kann diese Experience jedem empfehlen, der Freude daran hat, mit der Natur verbunden zu sein. Die Iglus sind unheimlich liebevoll vorbereitet, bis ins Detail stimmungsvoll und so, dass man sich super wohl fühlt. Ich war auch erstaunt über das gute Essen, dass auch dampfend heiß auf dem Tisch gelandet ist. Ganz besonderes Lob aber auch an das Team, an Matthias und an Patrizia, die sich sehr aufmerksam und herzlich um uns kümmerten. Das ganze Programm ist auch super gut durchdacht, so dass man immer wieder die Möglichkeit hat sich aufzuwärmen, durch den leckeren Welcome Punsch, die herrliche Schneeschuhwanderung, das Abendessen, Die Sauna und der Hot Tub und natürlich die kuschelig warmen Schlafsäcke. Herrlich war dann das Aufwachen am ersten Tag des Neuen Jahres in dieser unbeschreiblich schönen Berglandschaft, die von magischem Licht beschienen wurde. Wenn das kein guter Auftakt ist für das Neue Jahr! Danke dafür :)

Juchuuu, endlich, nach 2 Jahren Corona-Verschiebungen haben wir es geschafft!

+ Terminvereinbarung ganz easy
+ Schneeschuhwanderung: super, nicht zu öde, nicht zu anspruchsvoll, genau richtig für jedermann und richtig schön! Und Willi weiß viel und kann viel erklären. Einwandfrei!
+ Lage der Iglus, Sauna und heißer Pool: top!
+ Bett im Iglu: seeeehr bequem, Schlafsack - mit Wärmflaschen vorgeheizt - war super und auch der Toilettengang zum Klohäusl in der Nacht war dann nicht so schlimm, weil man gleich wieder aufgewärmt war (Klohäusl war auch schön geheizt und es gibt warmes Wasser, alles prima)
+ 3-Gänge-Menü super organisiert und liebevoll serviert.
+ Frühstück im Bergrestaurant war auch ausgiebig und sehr lecker

Ganz persönlich finde(n) wir/ich:
- Es ist - insbesondere auf Skiern und mit Reisetasche - nicht so ganz einfach zu den Iglus zu kommen: von der Bergstation der Gondel entweder ein Stück queren und dann mit einer Art Förderband nach oben, oder von der Bergstation der Gondel eine kurze Piste runter, bis zur nächsten Gondel und damit hoch. Am nächsten Morgen dann mit Gepäck rüberqueren zum Bergrestaurant. Ja, wenn möglich, kann das Gepäck mit dem Ski-Doo transportiert werden .... muss man halt ggf. vorher überlegen/planen. Am besten mit Rucksack (was allerdings dann wieder im Iglu nicht so leicht zu handeln ist)
- Liegt in der Natur der Sache: aber uns war es beim Abendessen im Restaurant-Iglu einfach viel zu kalt. Da haben auch die Iglu-Drinks nichts mehr geholfen (an dieser Stelle: es gibt eine Getränkekarte mit einer ordentlichen Auswahl, da findet jeder was!). Insofern genug Kleidung im Zwiebel-Prinzip mitnehmen, sowie (zumindest fingerlose?) Handschuhe und Mütze, Schal, etc.zum Essen anziehen! Außer man hat Hitzewallungen, dann geht es angeblich. Oder man geht vor dem Abendessen in die Sauna - das ist aber vom Zeitplan her schwierig.
- Ich persönlich kann mit Gulasch einfach so gar nichts anfangen. Gaaaanz vielleicht wäre eine Auswahl ziwschen 2 Gerichten für die Hauptspeise vorab sinnvoll? Ich hätte es mir jedenfalls gewünscht! Oder anders gesagt: hätte ich gewusst, was es (genau) gibt, hätte ich (auch) vegetarisches Essen bestellt.
- Und ok, mein ganz persönliches Fazit: ich habe Camping/Schlafsack-Übernachtungen nun für mein Leben endgültig beendet, ich komme in einem kleinen Iglu fast ohne Stauraum für das Gepäck, und insbesondere in einem Schlafsack einfach nicht klar. Ohne Schlafsack wäre es zu kalt, mit ist es mir einfach zu eng. Insofern: persönlich was dazugelernt - Versuch macht kluch!

Wer mit Kälte wunderbar zurecht kommt und einfach mal was einfaches und originelles ausprobieren will ist hier genau richtig!

Disappointing Arhntal Igloo experience

Overall the night in the igloo was a memorable experience, however, there were significant shortcomings from the Kreaktiv KG Team.
We had arranged to meet one of your staff at 3pm at the bottom of the Speikboden lift, at their suggestion, and unfortunately they did not arrive, which we found extremely frustrating.
This was further exaserbated by no response by phone or text from either the member of staff who had been our main point of contact, or from Kreaktiv TIV team, when we attempted to call many times.
When we decided we could wait no longer, we took the lift to the Mittelstation only to find that by this time the slope lifts had stopped working and we had to drag our cabin bags, skis, boots etc to the igloo area
Also the pictures on the advertisement showed an attractive traditional igloo design, when in reality the igloo bore no resemblance to what was shown. This was very disappointing, and is misleading, and probably illegal. The igloo experience was an expensive option that turned out to be the most frustrating part of our whole Ahrntal experience, all of which could easily have been avoided by your staff either arriving as previously arranged, or by timely communication when required with the Kreaktiv team.

Hi Stephen, It's a pity to read your review. Part of things are not true. We don't meet our guests at the cash point, and I even texted you to take the gondola at 3pm so that you would have enough time to enjoy the day on top of the mountain, and to reach our village in time. See screenshot of our conversation attached. What should not happen is that no one answerd the phone. I apologize for that. You are right. Our village is partly different than on some of the photos. This is part of the evolvement process, we try to get better every year. We are getting bigger and therefore the composition of the igloo village got adapted. That makes it more convenient to work for us and does not affect the quality of the service. This is far away from illegal. I hope you've enjoyed the wine our staff had prepared for you and I hope you'll enjoy your Easter holidays. Günther

Starry Night and Dinner In Igloo Restaurant; Camping in the cold

Great experience for being the only ones (we were lucky enough to be with a small group of 7). It was a clear day so when we arrived around 1630 it was gorgeous to see the sun setting. The ski day was coming to an end so not too many people at the top of the mountain. At night it was even more spectacular as there was minimal light pollution so the you could see constellations, etc. Our guide, Florian, met us at the entrance to the Igloo area and took us to the "reception" where we had a hot punch. He then showed us our igloo. Igloos were well constructed--snow dome with an elevated "bed" in the middle. Our thermal sleeping bags were zipped together. In the evening he prepared us a 3-course meal: soup, beef with dumpling, and dessert. The dinner was more glamping than camping--great presentation and savory. After eating, Florian surprised us by performing a couple of magic tricks. Fantastic way to end the group dinner. We then proceeded to use the sauna, which was most welcome as it allowed us to heat up before going into the igloo for the night. We had a hot water bottle inside our sleeping bag and a thermos of tea on the bedside table. One other cool thing before retiring is we got to see the huge snowplows grooming the mountain for the next day--I've always seen them from afar, but hearing them and seeing the lights up close completed the sensory experience. Once in the sleeping bag you don't want to get out, not even for the tea. It is extremely cold. We were dressed with thermal underwear, PJs, hoodie, hat, scarf, and ski socks. If we had face guards, we would have worn those as well. We awoke at 0530 to use the bathroom (beautiful as it was pitch black and snowing-watching the flakes come down with the flashlight was magical). The bathroom is about 150 meters away. Breakfast was in one of the lodges and was the typical European breakfast--cheese, cold cuts, juices, and bread. Cappuccino was very good. Some of the challenges: when we first arrived, it was "hard" to find--when you come off the gondola, there is a little conveyor lift off to the left that takes you right up to the igloos (we got there right when it was shut so had to trudge up the slope; would recommend getting there a little earlier than the suggested time)--also we had to ask someone at the ski school, the bathrooms (2: 1M,1F) are small, similar to a dressing cabinet, with sink, hot water & toilet--they're away from the compound at the base of one of the lifts. The Romantic part is a stretch, but would recommend the experience at least once, especially if Florian is your guide.

Un'esperienza favolosa

Dormirete in piccoli igloo graziosi e accoglienti, con coperte/pelli e un sacco a pelo termico che vi terranno al calduccio durante la notte. Non fa così freddo come si pensa ;)
Raggiungerli è semplice: proprio alle spalle della funivia Speikboden.
Il bagno in comune è riscaldato e non troppo lontano dagli igloo.
Il ristorante/bar è molto accogliente e la cena gustosa: 3 portate di piatti tipici, caldi e abbondanti.
Ottime anche l'accoglienza e l'organizzazione in generale. La nostra igloo-guida, Florian, è stata sempre molto simpatica e disponibile.
Prima di cena, se volete, vi aspetta una ciaspolata e, dopo cena, consiglio vivamente sauna&vasca outdoors: che incredibile sensazione e che paesaggio!
L'unica "critica": troppo piccolo lo spogliatoio/entrata della sauna.
La mattina farete una buona colazione dolce e/o salata in un bar vicino agli igloo.
Consiglio di non scendere in funivia ma con gli slittini: divertimento assicurato!
Esperienza unica, forse un pò costosa ma ne vale la pena per una volta! La consiglio! Anzi, la rivivrei volentieri :)

Cara Chiara, Grazie mille delle tue parole accoglienti! Ci fa tanto piacere leggere e rivivere la tua esperienza da noi al MountainIgloo. Del prezzo purtroppo non possiamo cambiare tanto, perché la logistica e la costruzione è talmente dispendioso per noi. Costruiamo gli igloo da zero di nuovo ogni anno a novembre. Ma dello spogliatoio stiamo già pensando come cambiarlo. Così che quando tornate troverete più spazio a cambiarvi :-) Saluti di cuore dalla squadra dell'Igloo.

Ich kann das MountainIgloo nur jeden weiterempfehlen der mal etwas ganz exklusives erleben will! Die Ruhe nachdem die Liftanlagen geschlossen werden und die Aussicht sind spektakulär, wir hatten Glück das an dem Tag fast Windstill war und Traumwetter also Traumaussicht. Bei der Buchung gab es keine Schwierigkeiten. Wir wurden gleich beim Ankommen herzlich empfangen und es hat uns an nichst gefehlt. Ich würde als Schlafsäcke Einzelschlafsäcke verwenden, da wir öfter campen gehen und wir da auch getrennt schlafen sonst ist es beim schlafen ein hin und her ziehen um den Schlafsack und in der Mitte ist doch die Kälte durchgezogen, aber alles in allem war es nicht kalt, dafür hat der Begrüssungsdrink gesorgt und auch der Edelweissschnaps nach dem Essen, besonders toll war es dann nach dem Abendessen im Badezuber zu sitzen und die sternenklare Nacht mit einem Prosecco in der Hand zu geniessen. Die Toiletten waren zwar etwas weiter weck aber beheizt und sauber, was das wichtigste ist. Auch das Essen war spitze, dafür dass nur zwei Kochfelder vorhanden waren, kann man es nicht besser machen! Am besten war es aus dem Zuber rauszukommen und sich in der eiskalten klaren Bergluft an der Feuerstelle abzukühlen um dann am Ende noch die 85 Grad warme Sauna zu geniessen und trocken und warm ins Bett zu kommen. Wir FRAUEN haben noch extra eine Bettflasche bekommen und einen Prosecco oder auch Kräutertee als Betthupferl;-) Das Frühstück am nächsten Tag im Restaurant Speikboden war auch super. Man hat wieder nette Leute kennengelernt und ich würde jedem die Nacht im MountainIgloo empfehlen, aber zimperlich sollte man nicht sein. Lederleggins und Moonboots gehören in ein anderes Ambiente. Alles in allem kann ich nur schreiben NIGHT ARE BETTER OUTSIDE Wir machen das sicher noch einmal.
